| We are the Flower Stalkers. We stalk all flowers: cultivated, wild, pottered, in the water and up a tree. And we can't help ourselves. We are also respectful of others, creative and sometimes a bit nutty. All submissions are subject to vote by administrators. We ask only that you submit the finest of your wonderful art, be it drawings, paintings or crafts. To uphold some level of quality we may decline some submissions, but always with an explanation. If you are unhappy with our decision you may express your argument once - but we are not interested in a prolongued discussion. Reasons for declinations are as follows. It may be that your photo is either under- or overexposed, or out of focus without an apparent reason. Your drawing, painting or other creation may be too sketchy or badly photographed (or photo badly cropped). Or you have already submitted a very similar image of the same flower. Please submit only your favourites!  Enough with the chit-chat, let's start submitting and admiring! Animal Visit - the main object is NOT the insect Aquatic - flowers in and on and next to water Bouquet - flower arrangements Craft - all kinds of craft Depth - play with bokeh and short depth of field Dew And Drops - raindrops on petals, mostly Duets - a pair of flowers (not three or one) Frozen - frost frost frost or even icicles or snow Macro - Very Close - closeups! Multitude - a whole bunch of beauty Traditional Art - drawings and paintings, even digital paintings Out of the Box - when all other categories fail Featured - for especially well done photos that the admins want to specially feature. |
